The Promise
Before getting his next case, Detective Sergeant Roman
Stefan made a promise to his ailing father to clean up his act. After taking
over a homicide case, Stefan is stunned at how easily he discovers evidence
missed by the previous investigators. Plunging deeper into the murder, his old
self comes into conflict with his new as bribes are offered to him. Taking the money
would mean dishonoring his father. Not taking it would lead to a scandal,
endangering not only himself, but his family.
